Early Wednesday, Florida-based Silver Airways announced via social media that they had ceased operations.
All upcoming flights have been cancelled, and travellers who have flights booked on Silver Airways have been advised not to go to the airport.
The news was hardly a shock to many of us, since Silver had declared bankruptcy in December 2024, and had been reducing service and flights ever since.
Still, a number of travelers have been stranded or inconvenienced by this latest announcement.
