I’m beyond excited to (finally!) announce that the new Abaco Forum is live!
Last year, when the Forum’s previous web host went out of business, its operators decided to pass the torch to a new administrator. Tom and I acquired the Abaco Forum URL and set about rebuilding it.
As we launch this new iteration, we thank all the former Forum admins who helped create such a wonderful and welcoming community. We hope we’ll do them proud in carrying on their legacy.
Though anyone can read Forum posts and replies without joining, we hope you will join and create a free profile, so you can share your own Abaco experiences, questions, photos, trip countdowns and more. (To join us, just click REGISTER on the Forum main menu, and follow the prompts.)
Once you register, please feel free to introduce yourself by commenting on the “Meet Your Fellow Forum Members” post.
You’ll notice the new Abaco Forum is more streamlined than in the past. We may create sub-forums as needed in the future, but for now, as we get the hang of this, we’re starting with just one main Forum.
Speaking of getting the hang of it, administering and moderating a message board is completely new to Tom and me, so please be patient with us as we figure it all out.
I’ll be posting more in the days ahead, but in the meantime, we look forward to seeing you on the Forum!
P.S. In creating this site, we didn’t have access to user names or account info from previous Forum iterations. So, if you want to utilize the same username as before, register it now!
