You introduce me to Resilience Square at Marsh Harbour, a story I’d like to hear. I’d like to learn more about HOW this became a good reality in recovery after 9/1/2019 Dorian hurricane. Who laid the foundation thought? And who teamed to make this happen for the distressed community? ‘Resilience,’ an apt description for our hardy people. The quarried limestone hill backdrop in the photo pictures the pull-up of boot straps to accomplish the task to help each other.

Hi, Joy. Yes, it was built by Brickell Management — here are a few stories about the launch of the new shopping center: https://ewnews.com/new-beginnings-resilience-square-commerce-center-opens-along-with-several-abaconian-businesswomen AND https://thenassauguardian.com/bastian-invests-4-million-in-resilience-square-on-abaco/. The Abaco Shopping Plaza (where KFC used to be) has also been restored, as have several other small centers. Abaco is coming back, one building at a time!
