Here are a few more photos from the albums of my grandmother, Lurey (Curry) Albury and my uncle, Cuthbert Albury. I suspect most of these were taken in Abaco, but aside from that, I know very little about them. I’ve included whatever information I have in the captions below each photograph. If you can help identify any of these people or scenes, please post a comment below, or email me.

Anyone know for sure?

is my uncle, Cuthbert Albury, of Marsh Harbour, Abaco.

Amanda, I recognized myself!!!
I have been trying to discover what Curry family connections my family has. Research hasn’t given me many clues. But when I saw your picture of “Pa Wes” Curry, I had to pause and compare my face to his…probably at our common age…I’m now 67.
I’ll send you my most current 67 year old photo and you can decide if you see something in common.
We would have to find a connection between me and Pa that connects the dots back to Fred Sweeting, b 1816, and Sarah Albury, b 1832, and their descendants. Maybe it won’t be that hard to find? When was Pa born?
Hi, Peter. That’s amazing! I’ll go through my Curry/Malone/Key genealogy books and see if I can find a connection. Pa Wes was born in 1865, I believe, and he died in the 1940s in Nassau. His parents were Emmaline Curry (born approx 1850) and William Curry. Will check my email for your photo, and in the meantime, here’s some info about Pa Wes, from my cousin Evan’s blog: http://outislandboy.wordpress.com/2013/10/20/pa-wes/.
I’m sure your right about Uncle Cuthbert.
Philip
Yeah, sure looks like him. Did he work for a hotel at some point, do you know?
