Regarding changes to the procedures for importing/exporting dogs to/from the Bahamas, I contacted Dr. Godfrey Springer, Head Vet at the Bahamas Ministry of Agriculture, for clarification. Here’s what he said.

Citing the recent canine distemper outbreak in Nassau and changes to USDA regulations, the Bahamas Ministry of Agriculture has revised its requirements for bringing dogs into or out of the country.
