Abaco Off-Season Closures: Fall 2026

The following businesses or attractions have indicated they’ll be closed for part or all of the off season. In some cases, they may not yet have firm reopening dates. Please follow their websites or social media accounts for latest updates.

ABACO MAINLAND CLOSURES

Marsh Harbour
  • During the off-season, G&L Ferries will not operate the following runs: Marsh Harbour to Hope Town 5:50am and 1pm departures. In addition, the Marsh Harbour to Guana 5:45pm departure will not run on Sundays and holidays. Visit their website or Facebook page for updates as to when their normal schedule will resume.
  • Jake’s Bistro and Ice Cream Parlour closed on August 8 and will reopen on August 31.
  • The Bistro Restaurant at the Abaco Beach Resort will be closed beginning, Sunday, August 16th and will reopen on Friday, October 30th, 2026.
  • Snappas Bar & Grill will be closed September 1 through the 17th, reopening September 18.
  • Wally’s Restaurant and Boutique will close on the 5 of September and reopen for Thanksgiving (Nov 26)
Treasure Cay
  • Bahama Beach Club Resort The Pavilion restaurant is closed and will reopen mid-December. The pool bar will be closed August 21 through to November 1.
  • Coops Waterfront Bar & Grill will close August 24th and reopen October 7th.
  • Treasure Sands Club will close September 9 and reopen November 24-December 2 with a special holiday menu. They’ll be closed December 3-22 and reopen December 23 for the new season.
  • Sunset Pizza will close September 16 and reopen October 19.
North/South Abaco

Pete’s Pub is currently closed until October 7. They’ll reopen Thursday, October 8, at which point they’ll be serving lunch Thursday through Sunday only.

CLOSURES ON THE CAYS

Elbow Cay/Hope Town
Man-O-War Cay
  • Dock ‘n Dine restaurant at the Man-O-War Marina Village will be closed August 30 to October 11, reopening October 12. The marina office and fuel dock will continue to operate per their normal schedule throughout the off-season.
  • Albury’s Sail Shop plans to remain open, but may close early on quiet days.
Guana Cay
  • Nipper’s is closed and will reopen November 1.
Green Turtle Cay

NOTE: Businesses that remain open during the quiet season often work reduced hours, so it’s a good idea at this time of year to confirm in advance.
