Amanda Diedrick

With more than 30 years of experience in writing, marketing and public relations, Amanda has worked with a variety of national and international organizations. Her client list includes financial institutions, public utilities, non-profit associations and producers of various consumer products.

She has written – under her own name, and as a ghost-writer – for countless American, Canadian and Bahamian publications, the latter including the Abaconian, the Nassau Tribune and Abaco Life, where she was a frequent contributor. 

In addition to blogging for the past decade at LittleHousebytheFerry.com and then AbacoSun.com, Amanda is the author of the book, Those Who Stayed: The Tale of the Hardy Few Who Built Green Turtle Cay.

Tom Walters

Tom is an award-winning Canadian network television journalist who has reported from all around the world – from the tropics to the high Arctic, and from California’s worst wildfires to a terrorist attack in Istanbul.

Among other events, he has covered the devastating earthquakes in Haiti and Japan, fourteen hurricanes and a Pacific typhoon, two Olympic games, four U.S. presidential elections and a dozen Oscar ceremonies.

He has won more than 45 regional, national and international awards for work ranging from lighthearted features to investigative exposés. In June 2022, he received a National Lifetime Achievement Award from RTDNA Canada.
