Hi, friends,
We’re writing today to share some news.
Over the past few months, our family has faced a series of serious and unexpected challenges. As a result, we’ve made the difficult decision to place Abaco Sun magazine on an indefinite hiatus.

The magazine is a project we love deeply, and we sincerely hope that Abaco Sun will return in some form when the time is right. For now, however, we’re stepping back to give ourselves the space needed to tend to what matters most.
In the coming weeks, we will be:
- Refunding all advertising deposits for future issues.
- Refunding any unused subscription balances.
- Continuing to update AbacoSun.com as we’re able — including Abaco news, our visitor’s guide, and the business directory.
This website and AbacoForum.com will remain free, helpful resources for tourists, second homeowners and Abaco residents, and we encourage you to visit both to stay connected.
We’re incredibly grateful for the support, partnership, and encouragement we’ve received over the past few years. Whether you’ve advertised with us, subscribed, contributed a story, or simply read and shared the magazine — you’ve helped shape what Abaco Sun has become, and we thank you.
We’ll keep you updated as things evolve. If and when we return, we promise you’ll be the first to know!
With gratitude,
Amanda and Tom

Our prayers or with you and hope to see the beautiful magazine back in print soon.
Unfortunately more businesses will suffer due to the new boating/fishing/anchoring fees.
I have enjoyed every line of your beautiful magazines. They keep me in touch with my heritage, the place my ancestors lived in for years. Thank you for all the years of work you put into this endeavor. I will keep and treasure each issue.
