Later this month, from June 21 to 24, the first annual Elbow Reef Classic fishing tournament takes place in Hope Town.
The four-day event will include a captain’s meeting, two full fishing days and an awards ceremony, and participants will enjoy cocktails, dinner, entertainment, daily breakfasts and more. Each participating vessel will receive a boat bag filled with six shirts for anglers, and other goodies.
Funds raised through the fishing tournament will support the Elbow Reef Lighthouse Society in preserving and maintaining the iconic Elbow Reef Lighthouse, the world’s only remaining manual, kerosene-fuelled light station.
