The inaugural issue of Abaco Sun is officially published. All subscription copies have been mailed out, and we’re now delivering magazines to retail stores in Abaco.

The feedback we’ve received from readers, advertisers and retailers has been incredibly kind. Here are just a few of the kind notes and comments we’ve gotten.

“I love it so much! You did an absolutely beautiful job.”

“I love, love, love the magazine. The photography is spectacular! I shared the mag on the plane with a Treasure Cay homeowner and they were very impressed.”

“Guess what just arrived? This magazine is terrific!! EVERYTHING is great, the paper, colors, layout, all perfect. I’m really going to enjoy this. Congratulations on your great work.”

“Just got it in the mail today. Fantastic. Great job.”

“We received our copy of your fabulous, well put together, beautiful, awesome magazine yesterday! St. Louis is a brighter place now because of you. You guys have done a phenomenal job, and kudos and thanks aren’t enough. I hope you are proud of your hard work…  You have shown Abaco in a way no others can.”

Really, we’re not worthy! What we are, however, is grateful. To all who have been a part of this journey thus far.

First and foremost, thank you to our amazingly talented (and incredibly patient) graphic artist, Freda Lewko. She has been a joy to work with, start to finish.

To our inaugural issue advertisers, subscribers and retailers, thank you for the faith you’ve shown in us.

Thanks also to our inaugural issue contributors. We’re blessed with a lot of creative people in Abaco, and we look forward to showcasing local talent in every issue.

And now? We begin again. Next week, we start work on our Summer 2023 issue, due out in June. Note that the deadline for booking ad space is April 15, and that we’re extending our “Buy three insertions, get the fourth free” promotion to the next issue.

P.S. For those who have been asking, it’s definitely not too late to subscribe and receive a copy of the inaugural issue. We’re sending out another round of subscription copies later this week.
