In a recent post, I told you that Tom and I have been rebranding and redesigning this blog to support all of Abaco as it recovers, rebuilds and rises.
Today, I want to give you a sneak peak at our new name and logo.
Why the name Abaco Sun? Well, we wanted something uplifting. Something that spoke to the resilience of Abaconians – who, as reliably as the sun, rise to meet whatever challenges they’re dealt. You might say the name just dawned on us.
We’ll have to take the blog offline for a few days to complete the transition, so if you drop by here and get a “rising soon” page, don’t be alarmed.
When the blog’s back online, it will be as the Abaco Sun, and will have a fresh, new look. Not to worry, though. All the existing Little House by the Ferry information and posts will still be here.
In addition, you’ll also find updates from communities Abaco-wide, info such as updated emergency phone numbers, a new Abaco Visitor’s Guide, an expanded directory of Abaco businesses and services that have launched or reopened since Hurricane Dorian, and much more.
We’re just putting the finishing touches on the Abaco Sun site, and hope to have it up and running within the next week or so.
Stay tuned!
