Repairs to her windows, electrical system and fiberglass have been completed, and the ferry folks are now finishing off repairs to her interior. The goal is to have Bolo back in service by the new year.

In the meantime, her sister vessel, Bolo II, continues serving the community according to the following schedule:

  • From GTC to the Treasure Cay Ferry Dock: 6:30am (Mon-Fri, from town only), 7:30am (except Sundays), 8am, 10am, 12:45pm, 3pm and 4:30pm.
  • From the Treasure Cay Ferry Dock to GTC: 7:10am (Mon-Fri), 7:45am (except Sundays), 8:30am, 10:30am, 1pm, 3:30pm and 5pm.

Is there dockage on GTC that can accommodate an 8′ draft vessel? After the first of the year we’re planning a trip and can deliver supplies from Ft. Lauderdale provided enough depth at the dock. Thank you.

Hi, Charles. Check with The Green Turtle Club (www.greenturtleclub.com) Their marina is open, and I would imagine they can accommodate a vessel with 8′ draft. But do check with them to be sure…
