New Flight Options to Abaco

Abaco lovers will soon have more flight options when planning travel.

As of December 2015, Delta Airlines will offer twice-weekly direct flights (Tuesdays and Saturdays) between Atlanta, GA and Marsh Harbour in Abaco.

Here are the details:

Departs Atlanta (ATL) at 11:15 a.m.
Arrives Marsh Harbour (MHH) at 1:05 p.m.
Frequency: Tuesday, Saturday
Effective: Dec. 19, 2015

Flight Number: DL5369
Departs Marsh Harbour (MHH) at 1:45 p.m.
Arrives Atlanta (ATL) at 3:45 p.m.
Frequency: Tuesday, Saturday
Effective: Dec. 19, 2015

The inbound flights arrive in Marsh Harbour just after 1pm, allowing plenty of time for those traveling on to the Abaco Cays.

Delta will also begin flying direct from Atlanta to North Eleuthera on Wednesdays and Saturdays and offer daily service from Atlanta to Georgetown, Exuma.

And though details haven’t yet been posted on their website, I hear that Tropic Ocean Airways will soon expand their scheduled service to include flights from Fort Lauderdale, FLA to Marsh Harbour and Treasure Cay in Abaco.
