Gravesite of W.E. (Edward) Roberts, who established a large dry goods store in New Plymouth during Green Turtle Cay’s golden age in the late 1800s. The shop, which stood on the property where Sid’s Grocery is today, was supplied with clothing, shoes, candles and other commodities brought back by the ships that transported pineapples and citrus from New Plymouth to New York, Baltimore and other U.S. ports.
