Does anyone know what sort of flowers these are?

UPDATE #2: Reader Martha J. says these are stephanotis flowers (aka Madagascar jasmine.) She says they used to be quite popular in wedding bouquets, though aren’t as common today. A quick Google search confirmed Martha’s tip. Thanks, Martha for the information!

UPDATE #1: A few folks have suggested they might be related to the plumeria (frangipani) and it’s possible, I suppose. Though to me, the flower shape is more trumpet-like — similar to an allamanda, but much smaller. The flowers are waxy looking, and on a vine. I’m attaching another image below, where the vine and leaves are more visible…

I think they are stephanotis flowers. They were used for bridal bouquets years ago; don’t know if they’re still as popular as they once were.

Martha, I think you may be right… though I read that stephanotis flowers are 3″ long and fragrant… and these were tiny and – to my recollection — odourless. Still, I Googled stephanotis, and the images I found look almost identical. Thanks for the tip!!

Are the leaves narrow and elongated? This looks like the native plumeria.

I’ll have to go back to the original, wider shot and check. I should have included more information with my post. The flowers are tiny, and look like they’re plastic or rubber.
